Gotta tell you, the go kart thing was a blast. Didn't really know what to expect - but it worked out great. I thought we were doing practice then 2 motos. But they did a qualifing heat, LCQ, Main. Made sense after I figured that out. But people got to competivity and got stupid. With the go karts it makes more of a difference in which cart you get than personal abilities! And its just for FUN! Be for real people. Parents - let the kids have fun. Adults - don't get stupid!
We had a great time too Ray, and we couldn't agree more....Racin sure brings it out sometimes. Since this is a new event to add into a series, it took the first round to get the bugs ironed out. Things went fairly smooth, but we expect it to run even smoother their next round. We have decided the fair point structure for the series, with the difference in car performance, is that the rounds at Fastlane will be on participation points. This means that each rider that comes out at each round will receive 15 point for participation towards their overall end of series points. The next round at Fastlane will have concessions available. We will have Kuna's local Red Eye Grill out to host our next round at Fastlane. THIS WEEKEND...SATURDAY, See you at PV for Round 2! Gates Open at 9:00 with Racing kicking off about 11 am. We should have some awesome autumn conditions. We only get days like these a few times a year! See you all Saturday! (PS Daylight Savings won't hit till Saturday night at midnight, so you don't have to worry this year about being late)
