The Ovals Page on the website

I thought with the new year upon us, it would be nice to check out some dirt racing action from around us and beyond. The last video is to say the least incredible as the title suggests. So, check out the Ovals page and enjoy.

Also, there has been discussion and agreement on the width of the track. It will indeed be widened, which will make it nearly 60'. I think this will work very well for all classes. With some moving of some dirt to the back side of the corners to make it more level off the edge would acheive the safety and driveability issues. I must agree that walls are much more destructive to a racers equipment as there is no other place to go. These are my opinions only and I think we all will be discussing all aspects of the tracks as we get together. Lets all work together to make this what all dirt racers have wanted here in the Treasure Valley for many years. All of us can make this happen. Happy New Year to all.

Hey Jay, great idea to put some dirt on the backside of the corners. How about something as simple as haybales to act as a artificial barrier not to stop but to mark the edge. It also will hold dirt that is slung up there and start a cushion. As for the infield, I would really like to see some bank put in the inner track. SOOO, what ya say????confused
